About us Albanyoak Limited t/a Aquatreat have been established for over 30 years and was founded by Managing Director Derek Quinnell. The operations are overseen by the Managing Director, Technical Director Mr Kerry Williams and Operations Director Mr Craig Quinnell. Situated in its own grounds protected by palisade fencing the company is located at Albany House, North Dock, Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, SA15 2LF and comprises of the Main Administrative Offices, a warehouse for storage and mixing of chemicals. To the right of the Office and Warehouse building is the Storage Yard of bulk chemicals. The company employs circa 25 employees within the business. The business activities consider three main areas. Firstly, the storage of bulk chemicals within designated, purpose built, storage tanks, warehouse and storage yard at North Dock. Secondly, the bulk transport and offloading of chemicals to client sites around the UK, with the use of its own transportation and drivers. The company has a number of Technical and Service Engineers who visit clients’ premises to undertake the Sampling, Testing, Analysis and Cleaning and Chlorination of both closed and open looped water systems on the client premises, these activities includes the cleaning of Water Cooling Towers and equipment. In addition, the company has a wealth of experience in effluent treatment, and is able to provide technical service and support to all aspects of waste water treatment. Aquatreat is an established, specialist water treatment company with experience in all aspects of the industry, including: • Effluent treatment • Boilers • Cooling Towers • Domestic hot and cold water systems • Process Water Systems • Risk Assessments Our staff has widespread practical experience of the problems encountered in industrial water systems. This "hands on" experience enables the company to provide clients with cost-effective solutions to their water treatment problems. In the area of Legionella control, we have managed contracts for numerous clients which include; the steel, food and beverage industry, local authorities, housing associations, commercial and industrial organisations and local health boards. Our expertise covers all relevant areas including monitoring, risk assessment, tank cleaning, disinfection, tank/pipework repair and replacement, microbiological sampling, testing and result interpretation. We work with our clients to develop their Legionella control policies. As long-standing members of the Legionella Control Association our recordkeeping, policies and reports are routinely audited. We work alongside consultants who also audit and validate our performance. In addition to technical and water-treatment personnel, we also employ craftsmen (including plumbers, pipefitters, electricians and carpenters) and therefore are fully capable of undertaking the majority of remedial works that may occur. Safety plays a vital role in every task we undertake. All our personnel are trained and experienced. Work activities are always strictly governed by risk assessment and method statement. We employ a fully qualified Health and Safety Manager who is supported on an ongoing basis by Crownford Consultancy, who provide third party advice and guidance.
